Don Choripan is the brand of “Guga,” an Argentinian who lives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He wants to share his culture and roots through choripán: a popular food in Argentina made with bread, sausage, traditional Argentinian chimichurri, and other spices.
To represent the rich flavor of his gastronomy, nothing fits better than a hand-painted logo using the fileteado porteño technique — a beautiful and traditional sign-painting style from Buenos Aires. This iconic style combines vibrant colors, flourishes, and ornate lettering.
It was a pleasure to create this logo, carefully considering the colors and intricate details needed to build a strong identity that truly represents the Argentinian spirit of the brand.
Direction, sign painting and design: Dea Camargo
Another set of sign paintings was created to complement the visual identity, all hand-painted using the fileteado porteño technique.
